At Concrete Visions LLC we take safety seriously. We offer continual education to all of our staff members to ensure that they are up-to-date on industry best practices and go above and beyond safety standards. We are members of the National Safety Council, the Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association (CSDA), and the Firestop Contractors International Association (FCIA). Each of these memberships speaks to our deeply held commitment to safety in our core industries. We are also an FM4991 approved contractor through FM Global.

Safety isn’t a goal: It’s a requirement

At Concrete Visions, our staff members are our most important asset and we strive to reward them for implementing safe practices in every aspect of their jobs. We also encourage their professional development by offering a wide range of ongoing training opportunities, including:

  • 10-hour OSHA course
  • Training on safe work practices and methods
  • Training on accident prevention, which includes fall protection and visually scanning the field for potential hazards
  • Monthly safety meetings
  • Weekly toolbox talks where we share safety tips on best practices and using equipment safely
  • Driver safety classes
  • Training on scissor lifts and other equipment

In addition to ongoing training, we also employ a number of policies and procedures to promote ongoing safety, including:

  • Drug testing prior to employment as well as randomly and after report of an injury
  • Employees are offered incentives for good safety records and are given quarterly and annual bonuses based on their safety record
  • Written policies regarding safety and incident reporting for employees to follow
  • Navtrak systems on all vehicles to ensure safe driving practices

In addition to these safety practices, G&M Services, FireStop, and Concrete Visions also belong to a number of associations that speak to our ongoing commitment to safety and has earned merits in the following areas:

  • DOT certification
  • CPR certification
  • First aid certification
  • FM4991 certified for FireStop application
